Andy Nathan
Yoga Instructor
Andy is an experienced yoga teacher, now based in Edinburgh and originally from Essex, with a love for powerful, strong flows and the grounding stillness of restorative and breath-centred practices. He believes yoga is about our relationship to the present moment and to life, and that the physical practice mirrors the search we all face in finding balance between too much and not enough. Valuing strength and presence as much as flexibility, his classes are warm, empowering, and accessible for all levels, with options and props always included. With over 680 hours of certified training, Andy is as comfortable breaking down Chaturanga Dandasana with props as he is encouraging students to enjoy an extra five(ish) breaths in a standing balance. Expect focus, sweat, depth, humour, and breath-led movement, with philosophy and musicality woven through in a way that grounds and inspires. Away from the studio, he’s often exploring Scotland’s wild spaces, at the gym, on the Judo mat, or recharging by the sea - and in it.
