Katy spent 20 years working in the corporate world of business development and events in Scotland, Ireland and New Zealand, throughout which she was always involved in fitness, running, gym and yoga, but never seemed able to get a good life balance. After the birth of her second child, Katy came to the realisation that life was going to just continue at the hectic pace it was going at unless she chose to do something about it. Katy decided to take the plunge, step off the cliff, quit her career and change direction. She completed her 200-hour training amidst being mum and working part time, then immediately began to teach as much and as often as she could. Very quickly, she realised what a gift it was to be able to teach and guide people through their yoga practice. Katy is now barre certified, and you can find her hopping between the mat and the barre all over Edinburgh!
