Before falling in love with the body awareness that pilates encourages, Marjorie had no idea of the incredible effect that movement would have on her life. Becoming a pilates instructor enhanced her skills in ballet, and now she teaches both mat pilates and barre at Tribe.
“In class, I often find myself repeating the mantra ‘listen to your body’. We learn and gain so much when we tune into our physical selves. It helps us to prevent injury and strengthen in a nurturing way.”
Originally from Chicago, Marjorie moved here permanently in August and spends the chilly Scottish days drinking tea and relishing a fresh start each morning. For her, Tribe is a family that has helped her through the transition to a new country. She wants to help you find community here too.
