Pilates is a form of exercise that concentrates on building strength and finding length for the whole body. Developed by Joseph Pilates, it is a mind body workout that focuses on low impact endurance movements alongside creative sequencing and variations. Expect engaged abdominals, a strong back and legs with a heightened awareness to your body’s movement and postural alignment.
Please arrive at the class 5-10 minutes early to allow for check in. Storage lockers are available.
Mats and any props will be provided at the studio, but please feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated before, during and after class.
No experience required, however if it is your first ever Pilates class, please arrive 15-20 minutes early and inform the teacher.
