Class Description:

Our postnatal barre class is an excellent way to improve your core, strength, and tone while spending time together with your baby. The postnatal barre classes are designed for all mums and your pre-crawling babies too (if you wish)! You may feed, change nappies and have the wee ones join in!

Like other Tribe Barre classes, this combines isometric exercises, high-energy choreography and interval cardio, sometimes incorporating hand weights. Even though the classes are fun and friendly we also work you quite hard!

What to Bring:

Regular item storage lockers are not available at this time. Please only bring essential items with you to the studio, which can be placed in small designated storage space. 

  • Bottle of water
  • A mat
  • A sweat towel if desired
  • Your baby’s favourite toys

Weights will be provided.

Experience Required:

No experience required, however if it is your first ever barre class, please arrive inform the teacher.

Notes:
  • Please arrive on time. Doors will be locked outside of class times.
  • Please arrive ready for class, changed and with a full water bottle. Changing room, toilet, shower and water fountain facilities are closed at this time per government guidelines.
  • We are no longer able to have a team member available to assist with the babies during class, so please do bring anything you need for yourself or the little one to feel comfortable in class.
  • We advise that you consult with your health care provider prior to joining our postnatal classes.
