Our Yin class is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, that are held for longer periods of time, that may range from 45 seconds to 5 minutes. Often one of our last classes of the day, it is the perfect way to unwind both the mind and body allowing for a restful sleep when you return home.
Yin postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body i.e. the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. In addition to people seeking a calmer, quieter practice, Yin is an excellent style of yoga to complement more active forms of yoga and sports in particular for professional athletes.
Please note we have included within the scheduled class time a 15 minute check-in window for every class which is essential for COVID-19 regulations. Please arrive at the class time listed.
Regular item storage lockers are not available at this time. Please only bring essential items with you to the studio, which can be placed in small designated storage space.
No experience required, however if it is your first ever yoga class, please arrive 15-20 minutes early and inform the teacher.
